With MaxTel’s Primary Rate Interface (PRI) service, we provide an all-in-one customized voice solution that will help you manage growth more effectively. Using our state-of-the-art fiber and next generation network, our PRI service provides 30 simultaneous two-way connectivity channels between your Private Branch Exchange (PBX) and the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). By consolidating your traffic and reducing the total number of trunks and interface cards required, you’ll achieve the cost reduction you need to remain competitive. Meanwhile, your customers will receive the consistent connections they count on, and you’ll have the flexibility to customize your PRI service to suit your changing needs. MaxTel provides Direct Inward Dialing (DID) facility through PRIs. This means that last four digits of your seven digit allocated phone number, i.e., 831 xxxx, could be programmed as extensions on your PABX. So if your local extension is 1111, MaxTel’s PRI would program your DID as 831 1111. Callers from outside your office would dial 831 1111 to reach straight to your desk whereas internal office callers can call you by dialing your local extension as 1111. This eliminates the need of having separate numbering plans for your PABX extensions and your phone numbers.

Following features are available on MaxTel's Telephony Services :

Basic Call Voice call can be setup between two subscribers.

Calling Line Identification CLI allows you to identify the caller before picking up the phone. The customer can check obnoxious calls and can keep the complete record of all incoming / outgoing calls with time and date to take any action.

Call Waiting During conversation a beep can be heard indicating another incoming call. A new incoming call can be attended by tapping which will put present call on hold, and next incoming call can be attended.

Call Transfer A customer engaged in a call can transfer the other party call to a third subscriber. This facility can be used with the Call Waiting Feature.

Call Forwarding
  • Immediate forwarding: A customer with this facility may transfer incoming calls to another desired number.
  • If busy: In case the subscriber's line is busy, an incoming call will be transferred automatically to another desired number.
  • If no reply: In case of no reply, call will be transferred automatically to another desired number.
Hot Line This service enables a subscriber to be in contact just by lifting the handset and without dialing the number. System automatically dial a preprogrammed number (after 5 seconds delay), most appropriate for frequently dialed numbers.

Call Baring Incoming or outgoing calls can be blocked to a subscriber’s liking to avoid unauthorized use of his phone. It can be deactivated whenever desired.

Abbreviated Dialing Dial a short number (single digit) to get desired number. A maximum of 10 such numbers can be registered.

Absent Subscriber Through this service callers can be informed that the called subscriber will be unable to answer phone.

Do Not Disturb Activating of this facility will stop all incoming calls. This will allow customers to be in peace if they don't want to be disturbed. The caller will get a pre-recorded message. It can be deactivated when desired.

Wake up Through this service, subscriber’s telephone ringing is initiated automatically at the fixed time. In case Customer does not answer the ring at the first offering, subsequent rings will follow after five minutes.

Emergency Calls A subscriber is able to call public services and emergency numbers without any balance in their account.

Three Way Conference Calls A voice call can be initialed between three subscribers simultaneously.

Fax Call Fax can be generated and received from inside and outside of network.
